My Name is Bonnie Buckeye, I am a student at the Ohio State University, majoring in Art and Technology. Art and Technology is working with the advancing world of technology and using it to create, inspire, and construct relationships between the organic, natural world and the machinic, created world. Technology is advancing fast and is so integrated in our everyday lives that almost everything we come in contact with has at one point in time been created or influenced by a machine or technological process. As an artist and designer I am interested in pushing the concepts of technology in new and innovative ways to create possible realities of a future where technology improves our lifestyle to create a clean, simple, and visually appealing way of life. I see myself partly as an inventor, partly as a conceptual artist. I like to create pieces that could possibly exist in the future, that will make our lives healthier and easier. I also like to create pieces that provoke thought, or comment on the uses of technology and its effects on human, plant, and animal life. This is the Digital Sculpture section of my website.
